Dr. Perkins's blend of advanced training, continuous learning, and personal interests reflects his comprehensive approach to dental care and well-being.
Originally from Waldorf, MD, Dr. James Perkins has built a career in dentistry that is grounded in outstanding patient care. After his graduation from Westlake High School in Waldorf, he pursued his passion for health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. His journey in dentistry led him to the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Perkins further refined his expertise through a residency in Advanced General Dentistry at the University of Maryland, which helped him gain extensive training in all areas of the field.
